Day 1

Meet up on arrival and travel to Bentota (approx 1.5hrs) –situated on the south coast, Bentota is famous tourist destination. Enjoy some water sports available alongside Bentota river (optional) or spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach

Day 2

After breakfast leave for Tissamaharama (approx 2.5hrs) ,en route visit a Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda – Out of the 8 species of Turtles found in the World, 5 of visit the Island to lay eggs and due to most species being endangered, hatchery’s were formed in order to conserver and ensure the species survival. Travel to Galle (1hr)and visit the Old Dutch Fort in Galle. The Dutch fort which is a designated World Heritage site in the only Living ancient city found in the island. Arrive at Tissamaharama /Yala and check into your hotel

Day 3

Visit the Yala National Park and enjoy a 4X4 jeep safari – Yala is one of the largest national parks found in the island with a variety of species including Elephants, Leopards, Deer, Wild Boar, Crocodiles and a variety of Birds. Return back and travel to Ella after lunch (approx 3hrs), site seeing the beautiful mountain range scenery with a short stop at Rawana falls. Later after noon enjoy a hike to Nine arch bridge and min Adams peak

Day 4

Hop on board the morning train and enjoy a scenic train ride to Kandy(approx 5hrs) – Arrive in Kandy and transfer to your hotel and late afternoon visit the Temple of Tooth – most sacred temple found in the island where the tooth relic of Buddha is preserved
Over night stay – Kandy

Day 5

After breakfast enjoy a brief city tour of Kandy and visit the Royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya –largest botanical garden found in the island. Thereafter transfer back to the airport or Hotel in Colombo/ Negombo
