Kandy & Hills

Day 1

Be picked up from your hotel in Colombo/Negombo in the morning hours and travel to Kandy(3hrs). Arrive in Kandy and enjoy a city tour. Once concluded check into your hotel for a change and bit of relaxation. Late afternoon visit the Temple of Tooth – the most sacred temple found in the island and end the day with a cultural dance show. Overnight stay – Kandy

Day 2

After breakfast visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya – the largest botanical garden found in the island and travel to Nuwara Eliya (2.5hrs), the famous hill station renowned for its beautiful scenery, cascading waterfalls, en route visit Ramboda falls and a tea plantation and factory and witness the process of tea.

Day 3

In the early hours travel with packed breakfast to Horton plains peak wilderness sanctuary and enjoy a hike to World’s end – a high peak mountain range with breathtaking views, witness the change in climate and flora as well as many species of bird and wildlife found in the sanctuary. After lunch return back to Colombo / Negombo (4.5hrs) site seeing the beautiful scenery alongside.
