Day 1

Meet up on arrival and transfer to Negombo (approx 15min) –a fishing village situated close to the air port. Spend the rest of the day on leisure
Over night stay – Beach Hotel, Negombo

Day 2

Travel to Kandy in the morning (approx 3hrs), en route visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to witness the morning feeding time and watch the Elephants enjoy a river bath. Arrive in Kandy and check into your hotel for a change. Late afternoon enjoy a city tour and visit the Temple of Tooth – most sacred temple found in the island.

Day 3

After breakfast visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya – the largest botanical garden found in the island which were the leisure gardens of the Kings in Kandy. Late afternoon travel to Kitulgala (approx 2hrs) – famous location for white water rafting

Day 4

After breakfast, enjoy the excitement rafting down the great Kelani river with rapids that reach level five. After lunch travel to Nuwara Eliya (approx 2hrs) – the famous hills station, renowned for its beautiful mountain range scenery, cascading waterfalls and tea plantations

Day 5

Travel with packed breakfast to Horton Plains Peak Wilderness Sanctuary and enjoy a hike to Worlds End – a high peak mountain with a breath taking view. Return back to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya, site seeing along the way

Day 6

After a late breakfast travel to Nanu Oya station and enjoy scenic train ride on first class observation to Ella (approx 2.5hrs) . Be picked up from Ella station and transfer to your hotel. Later visit mini Adams peak and nine arch bridge

Day 7

After breakfast travel to your beach destination Arugam Bay (approx 4hrs)-situated on the east coasts listed as one of the beast known surfing spots in the world, where the beaches sparkling white

Day 10

After breakfast travel to Tissamaharama (3hrs). Late afternoon enjoy a jeep safari at Yala national Park– one of the largest national parks found in the island has a variety of animal species including Elephants, Leopards, Deer, Wild Buffalo, Sloth Bears and birds

Day 11

Enjoy a half day jeep safari inside the park in the morning. Return back and travel to Galle (approx 2.5hrs) after lunch. Galle the most commercialized city in the South is where the famous Old Dutch Fort is found

Day 12

At leisure in Galle – enjoy a visit to the Old Dutch which is a UNESCO world heritage site and the only ancient living city in the island

Day 13

After breakfast travel to Colombo (approx 3hrs) – en route visit a Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda. Arrive in Colombo and enjoy a city tour with some last minute shopping

Travel to the airport for your departure flight back
